Adjacent to software

Software is these days getting into every pore of humane society. There are very few fields not affected with progression of software and computers. It’s interesting to watch it unravel in real time. We’ve wanted to pay tribute to software and programming getting such a wide adoption in other scientific fields.

Most of us developing software love to do small hardware projects on the side. We love meddling with wires, building electronic schematics, soldering things together. Generally speaking, just assembling stuff to get the tangible fruits of our labour. It’s a source of joy for us.

On the other hand we are often a tightly integrated as either core or support staff in bioengineering companies doing medical research. We think that’s a new frontier which will improve significantly during our lifetime. It will be interesting to see how far we can get with improving the medical technologies. You never know, immortality might be just around the corner.

What makes a developer look cool

There are plenty of stuff that makes software engineer look awesome. We are paid well, we tend to work on interesting problems. We tend to use logic a lot. However due to loneliness of our job we want to be cooler. The most important thing to know is, that we should try to feel good about ourselves. We should try to stay humble. We shouldn’t be envious of other people and we should try to iteratively improve our lives.
